Western Force with unprecedented Wallabies starting contingent
By Glen Foreman
October 30, 2008 05:45pm
THE Western Force will have an unprecedented representation in Australia's starting lineup when the team takes on New Zealand this Saturday.
The Force's Richard Brown, Ryan Cross, Matt Giteau, Nathan Sharp and Drew Mitchell will all line up for their country against the All Blacks.
rest from Perth Now......
Well said Glen...we may not agree with your sentiments about the stadium but we wish all the :Force: men the best for Saturday.
Cannot wait for kick off, it will be awesome to see so many Force players out on the paddock.
Hopefully a good win and showing will give them a chnace to cement some of their places in the longer term Wallaby team.
After three short years the Force has the most number starting from the rugby franchises, come on Eastern States its time to acknowledge that the Force has been good for rugby in Australia, and you do not need to try and get rid of us, work with us and together we can build a future world cup winning team.
Where would Ryan Cross have had a chance to develop, where would Brown and Pockock have been, and would Drew have got another chance to work his way back in.
Go the Wallabies, go the Force
