The NSW Waratahs have confirmed a host of departing players, headlined by lock Jed Holloway.

Holloway returned to the Waratahs in 2022 after a stint in Japan with Toyota Verblitz.

During this, he would make his Wallabies debut later in the year, starting against Argentina in August.

The 31-year-old played 40 games for the Waratahs during his second stay at the club, bringing up his 100th game in May.

"Your hard work, heart, and passion have left a lasting legacy at the club, and you’ll forever be part of the Waratahs family," the Waratahs said in a statement, with Holloway reportedly set to take a deal in the USA.

Holloway is joined by props Archer Holz and Tom Ross, with Harry Johnson-Holmes already confirmed to be heading west to the Force.

Holz made his debut for the Waratahs in 2022 after initially featuring for the ACT Brumbies.

The prop played 16 games in two seasons, parlaying this into appearances for Australia A and French club La Rochelle.

As for Ross, he made the trip up north from Canberra at the start of the year, playing in eight games in 2024.

Hooker Theo Fourie and outside back Vuate Karawalevu round out the departures, with the Waratahs set to announce re-signings in the coming days and weeks.

Fourie played three games in 2024 whilst Karawalevu recently started for Fiji in the Pacific Nations Cup opener against Tonga.

Vuate Karawalevu is an interesting one I thought he was already signed to 2026 with NSW.

He could be heading back to rugby league or else where.

Out on interest he previously played for the North Sydney Bears, could he possibly be heading to union or league in Perth?
