Oh that’s great news!

I'm liking the team and glad to see some consistency.
Instead of looking at who should be signed, or re-signed, I've looked at who might be "thanked for their service". Some calls are harsh. In no particular order:
Moli
Horton
Faifua/Thompson (one of)
Koteka
Fines/White (one of)
Burey/Miln/Harford (one of)
Proctor
Beale
Very harsh:
1) Moli has to be retained, severe shortage of LHP. Came through a difficult year hopefully he can get better as he gets fitter from his injury runs over the years.
2) Agree
3) Agree
4) Only back up jackal, with none available, need to retain.
5) White has been immense this year, need to retain both if we can and White priority.
6) I think they are looking at Harford longer term so I think he is rthe one.
7) Agree
8) He is going nowhere, if fit we need to retain especially for his rugby IQ and mentorship (Wallace Charlie mentor)
We scrum for posession, run for the try zone, bleed for the team and live for the game
I'd love to see how Dane Sawers develops. I reckon he was one of the best 7s I saw in the U20s. In the Tizzano mould.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
1) Agree, if we can find someone better as his scrummaging has been a bit disappointing, but that's unlikely. Handy to have him and Robbo who can play both sides.
2) Agree
3) Somewhat agree. They both look relatively promising though, and disappointing they didn't get more opportunities this year
4) Koteka definitely worth retaining. He's a great player who we'd be getting relatively cheap, and is a local. Was hoping to see Dane get some time this year too.
5) Agree. Hopefully White stays on and we move on IFL. He's gone the route of Kaitu'u unfortunately. Getting worse as time goes on.
6) Can definitely lose at least 1. I have a soft spot for Burey though. Served us well in tough times and still looks dangerous whenever he's on the field
7) Would be great to keep if we could get him fit. I'd think he'd be better than Tomkinson. But probably surplus to needs with Sio, Pasitoa & Kuenzle
8) Happy to keep him if he wants to play on
9) Tauakipulu - he's not up to it
10) Poolman - we've seen more than enough
11) Prinsep - possibly controversial, but I think this season has shown he no longer provides the impact required. Harris, CdC and Titi Nofoagatotoa all above him
Some thoughts based upon the fact that we need to get better.
We need HJH and Hoopert fit, if that happens then our front row looks a very different beast than what we've seen this year. I do think that we need to look at all front three positions to see whether we can get anybody better than who we had this year, because it's an area of weakness.
Koteka HAS TO STAY even as a backup to Carlo. We also need to lock Dane away into a contract to develop in a trio with those two.
As much as I like Finesey, if it's a choice between Nic White and him, he'll see where the grass is greener.
IMHO Harford showed enough in the game time he did see to put Burey to the sword. and Miln, while green is a future option, you won't necessarily see it in evidence now, but he needs to be given some time to mature.
Yeah, for me fitness is an essential ingredient and then, we don't know whether he's as good as the options we've seen.
I think the same plan as this year. Keep him in the room, keep him mentoring the young uns, but don't give him a contract beyond injury cover. It worked fine this year and I cans see it leading to some coaching time in the near future. Since the boys rave about his impact in the sheds I think that's going to be his role.
Agreed, we're not THAT short at THP
I would respond with , he seems to be the first option once Dylan and Potts can't take the field so Crono must see something but god almighty it's taken a long time to see some glimmers of it.
And he has no idea how to dive for the line without dragging a body part in touch......we should be able to find somebody better!
I personally don't think Harris is above him, but Harris is younger and shows more potential upside. I think I'd probably go the same way but with a severe rocket up Harris to get him to perform or be replaced by the kid. CdC is second picked in the back row (because how could you pick somebody before Carlo)

Hopefully both Harris and Princep are retained, both worked hard this season as the stats reflect:
Dane S and Titi N need to be an integral part of whatever development matches we are able to conjure up this season to start progressing their development.
With Carlo and NCdC signed on Ekuasi is the one backrow player we really need to get over the line and sign ASAP.
We scrum for posession, run for the try zone, bleed for the team and live for the game
WOW,
I'd have to say, those stats surprise me.
I have the impression that Will Harris wasn't living up to his potential (and I guess that still might be true) and that he wasn't putitng in as much quality work as Reed, but those stats tell a completely different story.
He might need to up his workrate in D a bit, but he's certainly not a passenger.

Harris certainly impressed me in a few games this season particularly with impact off the bench but was then quiet in others.
Nic White signing on again is great news, we really need him still. For whatever reason he always keeps us in the fight when he is on the field. I would be happy if we managed to steal Teddy Wilson away from the tahs to replace IFL
I'd somewhat forgotten about Ekuasi. If we can re-sign him and Harris, then Prinsep should be seen as surplus to needs, especially since I don't believe he's Australian eligible.
Just had a look at Rodda's stats for this year. He's apparently played a whopping 1830 minutes this season, so clearly his body must have come good. Would be so good to get him back at the Force - would definitely help sort our scrum issues.
If he does get lured back to Australia, I'm guessing it probably won't be the Force given we've got Swain and Williams already though...

As per previous post with stats, Princep and Harris as well as Ekuasi all need to re-signed with Ekuasi the most important and highest priority.
Rodda has twice left Australia less than happy with Rugby Australia, I doubt anything less than a huge fistful of dollars could incentivise him to return, unlikely to happen, need to put him out of mind.![]()
