A bit strange that the full blk range shorts, jackets, hoodies ect is available from the UK, but it's not even featured in the western force official online store?.....

I think the white jersey rule is a SANZAR rule, pretty sure teams can come up with more then 2 jerseys, it's just that the nominated alternate jersey has to be predominantly white

Good question. In any event it would be quite easy to use gold and black in a predominently white jersey. This stuff is not rocket surgery.

Yeah it would but really who ever signed off on that away design needs their heads checked it's got to be the worst strip in the Clubs history really disappointing

Would we not just wear blue when we play the canes?

Surely away kit should only be worn when there is a clash, not just because we are away.

The away kit should not still be predominately blue!! Nightmare for fans and refs when they play blue teams.

Fair 'nuff. I'm with the minority who still think the home strip should be gold and black.

There's a few funny rules to do with trying to make a buck off the alternate kits. A couple of years ago we had the farcical situation of all the NZ teams wearing their away kits at every away match as a merchandising policy, even if the home kit was more of a contrast. I remember the Canes wearing grey on a dull day in Dunedin against the Highlanders when their yellow kit would have worked a treat. The Australian teams are required by the ARU to have a white kit, meaning that all the teams wear white as their alternate, except the Brumbies who wear it as their first.

I always thought we should wear our traditional colours as our primary colours, as we are now the only team in the competition who don't. Even the Stormers have now gone back to blue and white, from wearing a full-black kit. With us wearing blue, we now have eight teams running around in a 15-team league with a predominantly blue primary colour and possibly more if you factor in the addition of an Argentinian side.

I also think it's a shame we miss out on all of the different, striking designs we could have had, if we were gold and black. Instead, we end up clashing with 7 other teams, while wearing colours and having a team-name which have no actual relevance to WA. Can you imagine if the Queensland rugby team decided to wear blue jerseys for no reason, like we do?

(we do have an awesome logo though!)

Does anybody have any of the jersey designs which were bandied about when we were awarded the team? I know they asked the fans and a lot of ideas were sent in.
