I have emailed both the candidates from the major parties in the electorate of Ocean Reef.

Albert Jacob rang me the very next day and discussed the situation and he said he was very well away of the Rugby demographic in his electorate and that he would push our concerns up to the top of the party.

No reply has been forthcoming from Louise Durack.

The labor party doesn't have links to their upper house candidates.


The gist of my questions has been.

Will you support an re-think of the current multi purpose stadium proposal?

The multi purpose stadium suits only the AFL and the WAFC.

Over 8000 rugby supporters/voters have signaled their support for a proper rectangular stadium by signing a petition and we are tired of being ignored and dismissed.

I promise to NOT vote for whatever party does not address the issue of a rectangular stadium.
