Not sure how I feel about this....How will they be able to get past the overseas player rules??

They will only target eventual "Wallaby Eligible" players, not previous International rep players. Like it said, before they even get to Vodacom Cup level.

But how will an ex-cricket coach be able to determine that??? Maybe he'll just act as some sort of 'introduction service'. And how are we affording him? Maybe on a fee for service basis or a % of sign-on fee or something.
Bold move by Sinderberry. Hopefully a shrewd one too.
Just noticed the bit about race quotas - maybe not such a hard task for Arthur after all.
Who's volunteering to help with the homework?
Great move by the Force, Mickey is a person who is passionate about Perth and only wants the best for it.
He would be a great addition to the team, also be able to mentor and "coach" players from an elite sports point of view, we have others for the rugby skills.
Being a migrant himself he would be able to empathize and understand the situation these youngsters are in.
South Africa I believe has in excess of 600k registered players and with only five and possibly six super teams in the future chances are limited.
All I can say is that Mark Sinderberry appears to have been the best "buy" we have ever made, in a tough field and environment he is at least looking for options outside the traditional regimented square and giving us hope.
Good on him and the Force![]()

No homework, as indicated at TWF Awards Night by Foles, he is the Afrikaans translator as well![]()

Great points Tazz. I certainly agree that Sinderberry is exactly what we needed to stop the slide Reid presided over.
Mickey is supposed to be running the cricket program at one of the colleges in Perth. Can't recall which. Recruitment is probably a part time gig. He'd likely have good contacts thru the ZA College Rugby system. I'd back Mark Sinderbberry's judgement there.

What an absolute master stroke.
