Interesting to note that they will announce Sharpies replacement next week and he is also commited to bring those WA bred players that have left back home over the coming years.

He is certainly making the right sounds, will it transpire to the field?

I'm happy just to hear the right sounds TIF....it's been a while since we had anything encouraging to listen to.

Now with Vern goneski we might just have a chance of reinventing ourselves!

very encouraging. Complementing Foley with Meehan and Chook looks like it could be a match made in heaven (especially appropriate give its the game that's played in heaven).

How did it all go so wrong at the Tahs?

What about Mumm. Senior that is. Pressure on Foley to play Junior etc shows meddling from above might be institutional

Going to be a very interesting space to watch. More than any other, his replacement will give us the best insight into what exactly they plan to reinvent the team as....

    A couple of things:

    1. Foley's saying all the right things, but then so did Graham when he took over.

    2. Hodgo for captain is looking like an inspired choice - good club man, nice chap off the field, bit of mongrel on it, and goes the extra mile to seek out and inspire the youngsters.

It does sound a wee bit like he's interviewing for the job, but I'm still very positive about him and his obvious enthusiasm for the task in front of him. If he can walk the walk as well as he talks the talk, we'll be in for a treat over the next 2 or 3 years

And if he installs Hodgo as permanent captain, then we'll defo be a Force to be reckoned with!

    Bring on February!

Came across well and said the right things! I think he has something to prove after his awful last year so its looking good for the force and he's not just a blow in he's committed for at least three seasons..

One thing to remember is Meehan and Chook have both joined. With Foley after this seasons Tahs. With the Force after this seasons Force.

Would they do that if Foley and Force were all hot air? Methinks not.

So I am inclined to think we have lucked out. That would be the only luck we ever had since 2006 getting Sharpie, Hodgo, Spanner, Brownie and the other leg ends

Good luck Tahs with Cheika. Good luck Reds with Graham (that's Judas v2.0 wholetruth).
