england world cup winning captain will be named today as new boss, this spells the end for brian ashton. martin johnson will be handed total control of player selection and coaches.

Wouldn't put money on it yet - depends on whether Johnston can get Jake White to step into the job - Ashton and Johnston having been rubbing each other up the wrong way for a while now
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
If he becomes thier coach I am pretty sure we are going to get roughed up pretty bad in the forwards...
id put money on it now!! any takers ?......

God they can't get anything right in England hey? I mean Ashton im my opinion isn't the man for the job but this isn't really the solution either. I'd put money on Jake White being another disaster if he stepped in too.
Just because Johnson was a great player doesn't mean he'll be a great coach.
I just saw on sky news that he has been made England manager, which apparently means that he has control over the whole english rugby program (according to the english sky news report)
