    Apparently the land is owned by (/vested to) UWA, so it wouldn't be easy for WA Govt to sell the land for development. Usually the vesting has conditions attached to it that strictly limits the land use to the purposes of education or community recreation, so wouldn't be able to be re-zoned without Commonwealth approval.

    I've heard the Wildcats get use of Bendat but not always access and have had to find alternative places to train.
