Well if this is accurate, I'm sorry to anyone who wants to see a Mungo team here, but I can only see this as good news from a Force perspective. I'm just as big a supporter of RL as of Rugby but I just don't see a viable case because the community foundations don't stack up. Looks like the business case doesn't either. Let PVL expand into areas that can support that.

I thought at the time that the Western Reds entry was too early for similar reasons, though it likely would have succeeded were it not for Rupert fkn Murdoch and his Super League plague. There were almost enough community numbers and a really strong local 1st grade comp - which, very sadly was decimated by that whole debacle. I've watched a little of the current 1st grade on the NRL Pathways Youtube channel and it's nowhere near the standard of the 1990's. RIP.
