In a literal sign of the surging popularity of the WA beer, the iconic Swan billboard has returned to The Raffles Hotel in Applecross after a 20-year hiatus.

On August 15 the neon-lit Swan Draught sign is set to be switched on, replacing the one promoting Asahi, the Japanese brewing giant and rival of Swan Brewery’s parent company Kirin.

I reckon I had pretty close to a 20 year hiatus from it too. I actually like it after trying a few pints of late. Can't help wondering if it does actually taste different or it's all in the mind.

I always like some super. But the craft beer craze took over and it was relegated to the back room.

I miss Jugs at the curtin tav for $9

    Swan Draught tastes like arse.

I'd rather support actual local businesses in the form of Rocky Ridge or Blasta etc instead of something owned by a foreign conglomerate.

I'll have to take your word for that.

....and I won't bother to ask you what Resch's tastes like.

I wiped arse?Gluten free now so I haven't had a regular beer in many years. Stuck with weird craft beers made from odd grains, won't be able to try swan again. Not considering it a loss.
