Make a decision and move forward.
There is a sense of calm whether you agree with the decisions or not.
Lessons
Players need deadlines.
The protracted sagas with respect to JOC and Pocock were destabilising for the club, morale destroying, frustrating for club and supporters
The "take your time" white flag offered to JOC and Pocock did not end favourably anyway. Pocock should have been given until the start of 2012 season to make a decision. At least it is done and isn't a season long distraction. No player is bigger than the organisation
It is a relief that a coach and coaching director has been hired.
Lets get a world class 10/12 and 2013 will be bigger than Ben Hur
Controversy corner
TOCC, is this what it was like when barnes left?
because it seems to be not in dissimilar circumstances
Yeah pretty much..
QLD were fortunate in that the CEO and Chairman also resigned, Mooney was sacked by the new Chairman
Slightly off topic but the SMH controvesy of under table payments to players via ground hire. This does not affect Force and skeleton belongs on East Coast. Worried that now we are two steps forward.
with the player payments "scandal" - perhaps it is located a bit further south then Sydney. History of the Mungo's of Melbourne massive rort of the Salary Cap makes you wonder if the rebels have a case to answer? After all weren't some of the administrators from the Melbourne Storm employed by the Rebels?
just something to ponder........

They had too many Marquee Players.
I think theres a interview with the Waratah Cief CEO somewhere and the rort was brought up. The question put forward to him was that every other Australian Franchise had denied being involved with this breach except NSWRU who were reluctant to make a comment pending the ARU investigation. Sounds like NSW to me.
