To me Castle continues to be influenced by the toxic egotistical nature and agenda of Clyne . She has done absolutely squat for Rugby Union in WA despite her spin and corporate yuckspeak

Hey guys, badly need your help and would greatly appreciate it. I was wondering what the average attendances were for the last two seasons with the force and how it compares with their attendances in super rugby. Thanks!

Keith, the numbers (according to Wikipedia, but they seem to agree with my recollections) are:

    2018:
    Fiji A - 19,466
    Tonga A - 16,327
    Melbourne Rebels - 13,907
    Crusaders - 14,259
    Samoa A - 11,678
    HK Dragons - 14,018
    Panasonic - 16,000
    Total - 105,651
    Average - 15,073

    2019:
    World XV - 11,368
    South China - 7,688
    AP Dragons - 8,427
    Kagifa Samoa - 12,437
    Fijian Latui - 12,832
    Malaysian Valke - 8,537
    Total - 61,289
    Average - 10,215

Super Rugby attendances often aren't published, but Wikipedia gives the following average attendances (which includes finals):
    2018:
    Blues - 9,650
    Reds - 12,101
    Brumbies - 8,391
    Waratahs - 13,511
    Rebels - 9,820
    Sunwolves - 10,076

    2019:
    Highlanders - 13,346
    Reds - 11,351
    Brumbies - 8,798

So in 2018 the Force had a higher average attendance than any reported Super Rugby side, but in 2019 both the Highlanders and Reds had a higher average. Not too surprising, as in 2018 we were playing invitational sides (international 'A' sides, or established teams) but in 2019 we were largely playing new teams put together with short notice.

Onwards and upwards with real GRR next year, while Super is likely to continue downwards

Thanks for the reply and they are really impressive numbers given the chaos that would have ensued after being axed by the ARU. Are most Force fans content with the situation now given the turmoil super rugby is in and now the rugby world has this new rugby competition to look forward to. I'll certainly be checking it out next season from here in Ireland.

G'day Keith. We've only been getting a glimpse of what's to come over the past 2 years as they've mostly been invitational games.

Improved in 2019 with 2 separate comps in Asia and the Pacific.

At least with the efforts of Minderoo/Andrew Forrest we've managed to maintain a professional team/pathway for rugby players in WA.

GRR kicks off in 2020 with probably a 6 team comp (teams yet to be announced).

Once it's a genuine competition I would expect the crowds to steadily increase once they realise that it's not just a flash in the pan.

That's a relief, aliens can coordinate a trip across the galaxy, rugby Australia couldn't arrange a piss up in a brewery

As that won’t be finished until 2 November I think they’ll have to announce it during the RWC as they’ll be wanting to get members signed up before Christmas.

And Twiggy's main GRR man Hodgo is in Japan at the moment. I hope he took a pile of blank player contracts with him. Sign up those Sunwolves for GRR 2021 while you are there as well!!

Maybe Twiggy will turn up in Japan as well, and do a GRR launch there, while all the worlds rugby journalists and TV are there?
