Player of the round: STIRLING MORTLOCK. An outstanding performance at No 12 winning the match for the Brumbies. The Kamikaze Kid was at his best.
Try of the round: DIGBY IOANE. A mad sprint, bob and a weave saw the Reds winger score an exhilarating 53 metre solo try.

i cant say i agree with Phil Waugh, that man played rubbish
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
waugh had a pretty good game i thought, im biased though so it doesnt count! if only i could be more open minded like force fans!
without waugh nsw struggle, he is the same as mortlock is to the brumbies, he plays well, the whole team plays well!
It's about the first time I actually agree with the SMH team of the week about the number of Force players that should be on it.
I'm not normally a conspiracy theorist but I can tell you for sure that Waugh will be rooted in the number 7 spot on the SHM team of the week unless any of the other three (if he even credits Daniel Braid) put in a godly performance. Try to keep Waugh in national colours and so keep him in Australia.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

one stat that isnt there though in fantasy land is that the tahs won and the force lost, i had no idea so many of the force players performed so well, you would have thought they won by 40!
the tahs front row did well, they should be ranked higher but hey, winning is winning!
its interesting... clearly Pocock and Brown had good matches but not so for some others....

look at Drew Mitchell had a stand out moment during the match scoring a 85 metre try but wasn't involved in the general match or made poor plays which cost him fantasy points. I wouldn’t say coaches should coach teams by this but it would reflect their general play stats... Looking at how the points are rewarded you would think a player would have to make 10 - 12 per match minimum...
Stephen Moore Fantasy 40 Points break down for example...
80 Minutes played +2
12 Runs +12
1 Tackles bust +1
3 Offloads +3
9 Tackles made +9
1 Tackles missed -2
10 Lineout takes +10
1 Tight heads won +5
Cameron Shepherd Fantasy 4 points
80 Minutes played +2
4 Runs +4
