Welcome to pro rugby my son
The lad had a blinder. The lineout throwing was first class, his scrumming against an all wallaby front row for the tahs was excellent. Some of his defence was tidy.
He also looks 'ard
Out of the gloom, a shining light. This lad is up to super 14 standard.
Another tick for coach Mitchell. He didn't need a big name hooker. He had a young ball tearer in the ranks.
Long may he reign
The tats are worthy of a minileague contract in the NRL
There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophies Horatio
Quite agree SWB!
From a horrible season so far we've found some nuggets of rugby gold:
3rd: Mitch Inman - hasn't had a lot of game time, but has looked good whenever he's come on.
2nd: Tyrell - can't recall him putting a foot wrong last night.
1st: McCalman - ably supporting Hodgo and must be making Brownie nervous. Imagine a Force back-row of any three of: Hodgo, Pocock, McCalman and Brownie; the forth coming off the bench with 20 to play!
Totally agree with above, amazing the turnaround in a week and a true reflection of getting the mind right. He didn't just suddenly become a ten times better player, it was in him last week too. He had the lineout ball on a string and was helped by keeping it short and some magnificent work by Sharpey and his lifters.
Agreed Sheikh, McCalman brings a variation of a common theme to our back three and I have been really impressed. In my eye he should lock down a starting spot next season to allow the other three to rotate &/or allow for injury.

"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Well said SWB; RT showed he is made of the right stuff the way he bounced back from last weeks debacle. He's got character and ticker make no mistake.
Yeah we at Rockingham are very proud of Ryan for his bounce back last night.
An all round great performance when it would have been easy to sulk after last week.
This is the courage of a player that wants to play for the Force from his heart, and it also supports JM's choice to give Ryan another shot.
Also to see Kieran out there shows that there is a pathway for our local kids to get to play at a high level.
Would have loved to see both the boys on at the same time.
All in all a fantastic turn around from the team after many had written them off for the season.
you guys down there at lark hill should be proud bunter
We most certainly are proud Jono.
It sure is great seeing these guys come through the Club from junior level to where they are at now.
Also appreciation to John Mitchel for having faith in them and giving them a shot.
ken oath. what a top coach!
