I have started this thread for those speculative and wish list comments in regards to the 2026 Squad
Quick Link to Confirmed Signings for 2026

We scrum for posession, run for the try zone, bleed for the team and live for the game
It would be good to have a 2026 squad list at the same time, I'm not across who is signed for 2026 yet. (As in, can't think who is a priority get and who can be replaced.
This is not the week for me to build that, maybe next week if somebody else hasn't beaten me to it.

OK, the must re-sign list for me is
Tizzano
Donaldson
Potter
Stewart
Pearce
Fines-Leleiwasa
Hoopert
Kuenzle
Johnson Holmes
Robertson
Ekuasi
Not to say that others shouldn't be re-signed, just that these are the priority names. I've listed them in order of priority and I don't think I'd be doing much other than working my arse off to get them over the line right now.
The rest can be a little flexible.

I am a big IFL fan but unfortunately he has really gone off the boil and has had 2 pretty poor years now since White came along. There was a rumour that Force were trying to get Teddy Wilson which I think would be an upgrade.
We need to get another quality prop and some more quality in the centres and another winger
Yeah not on the "essential" list for me. Doesn't mean I wouldn't offer thema. contract, but Pasitoa hasn't been gettign regular game time and I would be looking at the other options.
Harris, similarly hasn't fulfilled the promise for me.
Neither of them are on the "cut loose" list for me, but not immediate signature either. They aren't alone in that.
We need to improve and we can't do that without moving some blokes on and replacing them with better ones. It's actually good news that we will now be moving good blokes out because there aren't many (any?) bad ones.
Similar stuff with guys like Reed Prinsep he's a good player, hard as nails, plenty of experience, does the job excellently on the field but I see our best backrow as being Carlo, Creps and Ekuasi everybody else needs to be assessed and potentially replaced with somebody better than those three. It's also suck for Boog Koteka, but the unfortunate fact is, Carlo is playing himself into a Wallabies jersey so Boog is on the bubble.

If we can get Wilson, and potentially retain White then IFL becomes surplus to needs The two young blokes are good enough and young enough to be the development prospects Wilson is a good bench option behind White but IMHO would be costly and might go elsewhere for the number 1.
I Think the same about the propping stocks, that's why I didn't put Moli or any of the others up, I think we should be looking for a front row that's better than what we're fielding and have our current starters on the bench (maybe with the exception of Hooker, that might be a bridge too far) If we don't achieve that, at least improve the bench stocks.

I know he said he's retired, but I'd make a play for Oli Hoskins.
Yeah, I think Horton and Taukipulu need to be moved on. Horton is great around the ground, but unfortunately too light and underpowered in the scrum. We might also be better served moving Williams to 6, as we seem a bit light in the second row. Rodda and Hoskins would likely solve our problems, but also likely a pipe dream.
We've been cruelled by injuries at prop for a couple of years now. Surely we're due for better luck next year?? HJH and Hoopert back would also solve our issues. I think the remainder of our front row stocks are actually decent, without anyone being a scrummaging weapon

You're right with most of that.
I do think that Hoopert and HJH only solve SOME of our issues (maybe I'm being too much of a pessimist there, but it really only takes one or two injuries and we're back in the same situation.
I'd much rather approach it the way we've managed to do the Back Row. Our back row is so good that Boog Koteka and Will Harris are unlikely to start and we're wondering whether they are worth keeping or could we get somebody better. That's not really the case in our tight 5.
I think taking from the bottom and getting blokes that are better than our top should be the target, failing that, we should rely on keeping the best of who we've got and work hard on the next generation.

Looks like Harford is auditioning for a longer term role this weekend.
Cron confident Australian eligible flyhalf Harford can handle Fijian heat
Western Force coach Simon Cron believes debutant Alex Harford can make a big difference as they prepare to face the Fijian Drua in Lautoka.
Cron opted for the former Auckland and Canterbury playmaker to start against the Drua, with the club needing a win to stay in contention for the finals.
