Hi All,
i was impressed with his performance last year and thought he might get a start. Mind you Tetera Faulkner played bloody well against the Rabble and Pek Cowan put in the hard yards too.
Manu took part in the trials, but not the first game.....hard to argue against Faulkner's selection, in my eyes he made Nic Henderson his bitch on friday night.
C'mon the![]()

saw him train with the Force A last night
Because Manu is on EPS contract, he can only play Super Rugby if he's approved as an injury replacement and therefore becomes part of the Force’s 30-man squad.
He will have to bide his time in the 'A' side until either there's an injury, or Ma'afu goes to Europe.
Thats what we all understood to be the case, but how does Sam Christie play? Hes on the EPS as well.
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
I dear say SNK not being in the country allows SC a gig. It will be interesting if SC continues his form to see what happens over the next few weeks.
I somehow think there will aways be a Princess injured at any given time, so SC should be good to go in the 22 most weeks.
“In 1823, William Webb Ellis first picked up the ball in his arms and ran with it. And for the next 156 years forwards have been trying to work out why.” - Sir Tasker Watkins (1979)
Interesting, thanks for that![]()
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
Yeah very interesting, Cheers.
I wonder if they can be away/travel for the entire 4 + 4 leave periods or just the 4 wks A/L.
Good on ya RUPA - keeping the ARU honest.
I'm pretty sure the rules have been changed and the whole 35 squad can play at any time this year. The ARU confirmed it earlier this year I think. They don't have to wait for an injury
