Sevens Coach sets sight on the stars of tomorrow
Rugby sevens national coach Bill Millard has cut his shopping list of Super 14 players to three - but he must wait at least another two weeks before adding the names to his team for next month's Adelaide tournament. Millard and returning ARU CEO John O'Neill have been united in calls for Super 14 teams to release "fringe" players for the sevens program.
The South Australian and Burnside product has targeted three provincial players - Western Force's James O'Connor, Queensland Red Ben Lucas and NSW Waratah Rob Horne - as imports for the home series at Adelaide Oval on April 5 and 6.
This was in todays Sunday Mail, including a picture of O'Connor with the caption "Future Champ"
Got a scanner Oxy ?
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
I think it'd be great for him to get a run. Its better than having him twiddle his thumbs at the Force.
If the Academy match the other day was anything to go by, he'd do well.
Agreed - he was awesome the other day and this kind of outing can only help him achieve more - some of the other academy boys did well as well - wonder if anyone else is likely to get a run ?

Don't think we can read much into the academy game the other day. They we're only playing the Reds!
