The Suncorp Australian Schoolboys will play a curtain raiser to the Bledisloe Cup and Tri Nations Test between the Qantas Wallabies and All Blacks at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 13 September, Australian Rugby Union announced today.
The match against Fiji U18s will be the first time a Schoolboys Test has been held in conjunction with a Wallabies Test and also marks the 35th anniversary since the first Schoolboys international in Australia against England at the SCG in 1973.
President of Australian Rugby Football Schools Union Brother Bob Wallace AM said it will be a special experience for the Schoolboys team to play at the Test venue....

Should happen all the time, bring back the quality curtain raiser!!!

Sweet! Mind you, the biggest inhibitor to curtainraisers here (quality or otherwise) is the dire quality of the beer served at the ground as it is always a tough equation - 2 extra hours of midstrength from plastic cups v real beer up until game time.
That's what hip flasks were invented for Andy, in winter at least!
