This Saturday sees the WA U17's play a home semi final in the Junior Gold Cup against Brisbane Purple. With both teams undefeated in their respective pools, the match should be extremely competative!
For those interested in coming down and supporting the WA boys, the match details are as follows:
Venue - UWA Sports Park ( McGillivray Oval) Mount Claremont
Date - Saturday 29 March
Time - 4:45pm
Hope to see you all there.
How did we go!
It was good to see the boys get a home game! Unlike South Australia!

Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
The boys gave it everything they had.
They played like a team,
Stood up for one another,
Weren't looking too far ahead
Wanted to take it one game at a time
Looked after the little things and let the big things take care of themselves
It was the greatest experience of their lives
It was hard on them, but they learned a lot from the struggle

The game will be all about the one percenters, and the team who wins it, will win it in the
top two inches.
It's also about which Brisbane Purple turn up on the day, though - they play their best when
they're not looking too far ahead. It's a good idea as it's a game of two halves after all.
For WA, well, it's a must win game, it's a tough ask, and it is always going to be a physical encounter.
You're right as a team they've come a long way, and it's a matter of gaining possession, converting that
possession into points, and putting on scoreboard pressure.
I would say, put them on the back foot, get some continuity going forward, and put solid phases together.
Execute for eighty minutes, and, If you can get that right, the opposition will be in for a long day at the office.

A very dominant display by the WA boys.
Good luck to them in next weeks final vs Victoria at Suncorp as a curtain raiser to the Force Reds Game.
Now that's a double-header!
