It doesn't overshadow the majestic BankWest Tower nor Central Park ???
How bloody big did that idiot expect it to be???![]()
back to DLS - I'm voting no!![]()
no true.. it's just out of spite!![]()
Damn I really hope not! If that was the case most people on the east would be annoyed too wouldn't they? or is it just parents in WA who have this strange isolated problem? They are children, if it is time to go to bed send them to bed, close the curtains, get darker curtains. They aren't the boss you are! If people are basing their decision on DLS because their children keep complaining that it is light out so why should they go to bed, there is seriously some problem!!!
This one isn't shot at you cowboy just don't like that argument!!
I vote - GIVE US A RECTANGLE STADIUM!!!!!!
I know it's not a shot at me. Nor is this a shot at you.
Do you have kids?
It isn't that the children complain or that we dislike being the boss. The question is why would I vote to make life more difficult for my children who I adore above all else, simply so someone else can enjoy slightly more leisure time?
The counter arguements could be along the lines of as they grow up your children can enjoy more time with their friends etc and I am sure that there are other reasonable arguements.
My biggest thing is to keep the arguements on topic and positive, rather than negative, destructive and socially devisive. After three years I no longer care that much either way.
Yes, there are offices along the eastern seaboard, full to bursting with people dreaming up crazy plans to inflict upon WA. There musn't be any small children either
As far as I know, DLS doesn't require a referendum. It's not changing the constitution. The parliament could have just introduced the Bill permanently and we wouldn't be having this debate
correct Jargs, no it doesn't require a referendum, but to have a bill passed it does require majority in both houses of parliament - current political scene would not see that happen, nor would it have happened when the bill was first introduced in 2006? that's why we are having a vote on it.
