Working too hard to defend Lote in a situation where he doesn't need defending mate. Drew couldn't kick the ball anywhere else, he slotted it between two defenders to a bit of space on the 22. Lote chased, didn't get the bounce he needed with a defender hot on his case, toed it into the in-goal and missed out on the force by a shade....good positive play by the back three all round. I'm sure the kick was a speculator which was looking as much to force a pressure kick from the Saffers as anything else. No argument here, let's move on!

I think that maybe we should give a few key players some more time to recover, so they are Cherry Ripe for September 13, such as Elsom, Mortlock, Robinson.

I would also like the ARU to change the marketing of the September 13 game, so it is called a RWC Quarter or Semi Final, because we know how well the ABs go in these games, if they start as favourite

good idea on the marketing front!

deans has said from the start he wont rotate though, i think were still searching for combos really, we have moments but we havnt put together a full game! i dont think moving people in and out will help!

And by dropping Palu we would have a great combination at the back.

how can you rate brown ahead of palu unless your being extremely one eyed?
rown is a good super 14 player, doesnt mean he is a good international!

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

cos he is behind someone who still deserves the go he is getting, plus you have hoiles there, who has deserved his go for a couple of years!

ELV's needs faster players especially the back 3. Brown is quicker than both of them.

So we just drop Palu..bring in Brownie..and its all better.

I mean, Brownie was the TWF player of the year. Winner of a magnificent trophy (hope you got it all polished Jess) to be presented at a function soon to be announced.

    GO BROWNIE!!!

No one is rating Brown ahead of Palu at this point.

Palu had a great Super 14 and rightly got the Wallabies number 8 to start the year. But he has been pretty average for most of the Wallabies games. Brown's play in Super 14 is better than what Palu is showing in the international games at this point. And that is why Brown should get a game. Brown was better than Hoiles in Super 14 so I don't see why Hoiles should be ahead of Brown.

Palu isnt playing badly, he is doing his job week in week out, and because the whole of australua cant produce a front row that goes forward, most of palus work is messy elbow grease stuff, just cos he isnt scoring trys or making 20 metre runs doesnt meant he isnt working!
brown is a fair bit lighter than Palu as well and we need that weight int he scrum at the moment!
