Yes, but if I were to fly to Adelaide I would loose ...., Wait,,
Oh, that would never happen.
Sorry![]()
ok We're voting May 16 th - 4 long months of political rehash ahead - fortunately most of use will be to busy with the S14 to notice
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
i gotta vote on my birthday!
i'm sure thats un-constitutinal, and probably communist
It would be communist NOT to vote, regardless of whether it's your birthday or not. I'm sure the State Government doesn't care.......neither do I for that matter![]()
i dont have that big of a deal with voting on my birthday. i was just bored
Communist is -
No = Yes I would really like to spend some time in Inner Siberia camping.
sun doesnt come up much there either. Maybe the Ranga should consider it![]()
I have previously stated my opposition to it and will vote accordingly.
BUT
A friend of mine put an interesting alternative the other day: Why don't we have DLS for the summer months only?
I would consider that, but that's not what the referendum question is going to be. So I just vote no.
Do we know what the questions will be yet? eg Yes or No
Or will they try to confuse the situation by playing with different dates?
they are going to add a third option just to divide the no vote into 2 categories and then hope to make the yes win that way
i love daylight savings
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
"Basically that question being, 'do you support daylight saving operating from the last Sunday in October through to the last Sunday in March, that is the period that has been on trial for the last three years," he said.

Well, for mine, being able to 'enjoy'the great outdoors till late when it's 15 degrees and raining (i.e. in winter) is crazy, but that's just the colourful, fun kalaidoscope of personalities that is WA. Having the sun come up after 8am in winter doesn't do much for me either- I assume it's the "we need it for winter" idea you're pushing.
It'll get voted down, the world's lamest ferris wheel will keep turning, Jesus will post-pone his return to Earth to prevent being upstaged by the Ben Cousins show and I'll keep hoping we catch up to the throbbing metropolis that is Roma, Qld, where you can at least do the grocery shopping after work before Woolworths shuts.
