Tricky chase this for Australia. No pace in the deck and Australia are well renowned for a 4th innings collapse.
Great partnership from Warner and Bancroft. Heaps of pressure early from Anderson and the cheat.
Couldn't watch today. But it's amazing how quick a Test can change course. One of the things I love about Test Cricket.

Good to see Cam Bancroft get a 50. Should be in the bag tomorrow!
Thank goodness for the ashes and WA cricket the east wouldn’t dare take that from us.

Cricket Australia has been playing the grounds/state associations off of each other for a few years now. The SCG and the MCG are probably guaranteed a Test each, as is Adelaide Oval which appears to the Day/Night venue of choice. That leaves 2 or 3 Tests for 3 current venues and Canberra are going to join the mix next year by hosting its first ever Test.
I think the calendar for next year is 4 Tests vs India and 2 vs Sri Lanka and reports are already suggesting the Gabba might miss out on the first Test which would be a shame given Australia’s record there over the last 29 years.
Shame a Test Cricket will leave the WACA, hopefully they can recreate the same pitch type at the new stadium. Having said that the WACA pitch has been a bit average for a few years now.
the WACA pitch bears little resemblance to what it was in the late 70's
It was pretty quick at the turn of the century. I remember when Brett Lee hit Alex Tudor in 2002 sickening blow and Tudor never played another Test.
