“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
Someone (James) needs to add Ian Prior to 1st post of this thread.
I guess we won't be seeing much of the Shetland anymore???

THE Western Force's signing spree has continued, with Brumbies scrumhalf Ian Prior the latest name to commit to the club for next season.
Prior, 22, finalised a two-year deal with the WA franchise after playing 25 Super Rugby games with the ACT and Queensland.
The scrumhalf said a chat with former Reds teammate Luke Morahan - who is also set to join the Force from next season - helped secure his decision.
“I was really excited to sign with the Force and be a part of an up-and-coming team,” he said.
“When I came to the Brumbies they were in a similar position and I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of contributing to an always-improving team.
“I spoke to Luke Morahan in depth (on joining the Force) and we had similar views on contributing to a young and up-and-coming team and helping contribute to a winning culture based on our experiences.
“Based on their performances this season, the Force is heading in the right direction. They’re building the right culture under Michael Foley and that really appealed to me.
“They’re playing a positive brand of footy this season which is great to see as a player joining the side next year.”
Force coach Michael Foley described Prior as an “excellent up-and-coming player” who would help build depth in the No.9 position.
The Force travel from Sydney to Canberra tomorrow ahead of Saturday night’s clash with the Brumbies.
It's not a bad list we are building. I love the attitude being developed. A positive attitude means a good place to work, which means we may just get the players we need to storm this competition ladder in the next couple of years. And they will want to stay!

I think David Smith would love to come back to the Force too. He's quite unhappy at Toulon at the moment as he's been dropped. With Drew Mitchell heading to Toulon too next season, his place looks even more fragile.
Come back Smithy :-))))
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
Even though that would mean sacking Alby....?
Alby (like any marquee player) has a limited lifespan, maybe we could alternate, Alby, Dave, Alby, Dave.
C'mon the
Thought the ARU are about to allow us a 2nd marquee international.....what is David Smith up too?

I remember seeing something about another international, not sure it said another marquee...
Yeah it was at the end of holmes prior piece in the west. At the agm his week the aru are set to give the force another marquee spot . Which would mean 2 capped players and 2 development players. It did say however that the force was looking to sa for a lock.

looking for a quart lock is a good idea. considering Dave is a winger and we have a pretty good build beginning out wide,.fixing the second row is wise.

Pat O'Connors in his second year with French club Agen. He would be worth looking at again, I also recall he was aligned with Rocky back in the day.
