Why are we getting so uptight.. Its only Sam Wykes. He is the worst side stepping, non forward running Lock ive ever seen, the Paly forwards will steam role em, if he ever gets out from the changerooms with his hair dryer and brush in his hands.

Cowan was a lost to Paly, but there's cover, if its anything like his performance for the Force, you never know who you may have running out with the headgear on. A player who can win the game on his own, or be "another" Sam Wykes.

In many cases, clubs including Palmyra, register players when they are about to play. There is no rule that says you have to register players 10, 12 or 18 weeks before they play.

Am I correct Fulvio?

The rules also state EWF players must play 3 games to be eligible for finals.

The rules also allow dispensation in special cases including injury.

Each of the EWF players in question have been down at their respective clubs for the past 3-4 weeks. Each have been carrying an injury, each have become available and dispensation to RugbyWA was made and granted.

I hope that 5 mins before they run on, they will be registered.

Paddy did not play any matches for Neddies in 2013 - I was wrong, he did attend a few training sessions.

Still happy to nominate you and get people to second you for a board position Fulvio - where you can make changes.

If you do have this vast amount of support you claim, then please gather them together, draft a petition, maybe even start your own competition.

Fulvio - trying to get me riled by a leveraged personal innuendo will not work. The big picture to have the best players playing in this state and as many as possible is a pretty good aim in my humble opinion.

Let me spell it out again.

First, a player must be registered

Second if he is an EWF player he must have played 3 games as a registered player

Third, if he is a registered EWF player for that club he can be given dispensation in respect of the 3 games he didn't play while registered

FOURTH, IF HE WASN'T REGISTERED TO BEGIN WITH, HE CAN'T BE GIVEN DISPENSATION FOR GAMES HE WAS NOT ENTITLED TO PLAY ANYWAY, AS AN UNREGISTERED PLAYER!

Fulvio. Simple question. As a man of the legal profession will you be taking action against RugyWA/Wests for what you allege are a breach of competition rules?
If not then why not if you are so sure that rules have been breached.

Neither am I their legal adviser.

They will take whatever action and advice they see fit, though I would be very surprised, given the strength of their case, the passion it has engendered and the money behind the club, if this does not end up in the courts.

Apart from making sure it doesn't happen again, you are not gonna achieve much more.

Lets take it from a players perspective for a second.. If they are NOT registered and then do an injury is RWA or the player going to ask the Club (Wests or Neds) for compensation ?

Its poorly managed again as seen in the GF some years back between Cott vs Paly ??

Paly should go get Nonu and Half the All Blacks to play for them next week on the Rugby Championship's Bye. See how RWA like that ?

It will never change rugby WA are hopeless and as long as people like Hansie justify what happens this is how it will stay.
