OK so I have to bite on this one.
It's not an assault weapon. You can still buy the 5 round model. The argument is about it's classification not it's supply. The technology for this gun was first introduced in 1858. (Technically if you had an original lever action rifle made in 1858 you wouldn't need to register it as a firearm as it was made prior to 1901 and is thus technically an antique and no I don't agree with that.)
Awesome work - congratulations to you all. I wonder if we could get Sharpie to sign it??
Are there any plans for follow up actions - maybe a rally like the original one at Subi, encouraging people to wear their kit on Casual Fridays at work etc?
RugbyWA is hosting the beach rugby on November 5th. Maybe we could have a presence there in some form?
I think until some sort of fan group/committee is put together we continue to push the petition on social media.
Do we have 5 or 6 people willing to do a bit of groundwork on this? Eg: Organise a presence at RugbyWA events, organise to work with Mr Sinderberry, organise a meeting with Dept of Sport and Recreation etc
I can only help in a limited capacity because of illness

I'm more than happy to be involved. We don't have much time between now and 5 Nov to do a lot though. I guess we could get some handouts done to advertise the petition though? Get some T-shirts printed up too?
Is it worth nominating a time and place to meet and discuss this over the coming weekend? Say, Sunday lunchtime at JBs??

Does anyone know when SANZAAR will announce the new Super Rugby structure for 2018?
I thought I read somewhere that it is expected before Christmas?
Don't think a date has been announced but the expectation is that it'll be before Christmas.
