Time to get serious
Axe Gilmeister as defence coach
David Campese as attack coach
I'm going to throw in a smokey for head coach...........The "King" Wally Lewis - Love him or hate him, the bloke was the clueist footballer of his time (perhaps of all time) and he was 'ard and as mean as a junkyard dog. He only understands winning and time and again lifted a team of amateurs to knock off the polished shiny arsed professionals from a hardened professional league.
Or get Knuckles. I just checked my watch, it's "a spade is a spade" time
Controversy corner
Campo is happily ensconced in South Africa these days. Says he's too outspoken to get a coaching job in Aus!!
In other news, I heard on the radio this morning that QC is announcing his decision in the next couple of days. Maybe the EWF players know already and that's why they were so downhearted on the field last night??
What are the latest thoughts on Brett Sheehan's availability for the Force next year?
Which club in Europe was he weighing up?
I thought he had already signed with a club.
Given that there are few quality halfbacks on offer at the moment, I would happily see him stay. I hope Justin Turner stays on too. We will still need another 9 though- I'll be interesting to see how our U20s go. Although both might be contracted by the Reds.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Brett Sheehan said on twitter a few weeks back that he was "considering all his options". Not sure what that means! But I do really hope he stays. Am I right in thinking he's a WA boy? From Geraldton?
I also thought he'd become part of the Karma Resorts group who operate holiday resorts in Bali?? Perth is a lot closer to Bali than Europe or the ES are!!
At the Nathan Charles 65 Roses Lunch last year, Scott Staniforth asked us to spread the word on any businesses that may have opportunities for Force players going into retirement. He stressed some of these guys have diverse interests and skills and the WA public may have opportunities for some players. It doesnt have to be a stock broking company, some of the guys are even interested in such things as carpentary and farming.
So if there are any twf'ers who may have an opportunity for a retiring player, PM Coach and we can point you in the right direction.
Keep your ears to the ground today guys as there are rumours of big news coming from the Reds today. I'm thinking QC.....
does it matter if they are a piggy or a back PC?
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!

Not Wally Lewis, a great player (for a Queenslander) but a shit coach.
3 years as coach of the Gold Coast Seagulls NRL and 3 wooden spoons in the trophy chest
44 games with 7 wins and 37 losses.
