Sounds to me as if they are no more a going concern now than they were 2 months ago. KPMG may just be persuaded that the company can trade legally for the remainder of this year, but the real problem is the years after that.
That’s not an issue for the purposes of the 2019 accounts. But it’s a massive, not to say game-deciding issue for 2021 and beyond. The game simply cannot carry on as a professional sport these days without broadcast revenue. Sponsorship (even if they can secure any if there is no broadcasting going on) and match ticket revenue won’t be enough.
