Both extraordianary rugby talents. Nobody ever said they sat in the front row at school and brought the teacher apples.

    Cooper is no cranial giant......however

The people that need to be removed are the d1ckheads in charge of the ARU

Cooper is worth 10 X his salary to the QLD Reds........who were nearly bankrupt only a few short seasons ago

Cooper plays the brand of rugby that brings people through the gates..........and wins games........and test matches

After watching the 2011 failure at the RWC and the 2012 brand of the worst test rugby I can remember from a wallaby team, Coopers cries for help should perhaps been met with more sympathetic ears

I do not condone his social media airing of dirty laundry

However, considering the almost laughable style of rugby the wallabies are playing, which to every lounge chair Joe is as simple and predictable as it gets in pro rugby, I think we should follow the smoke to the smouldering kindle

The kiwis have planted a stooge. He was sent here to destroy our test team. Deans did not advocate this unwatchable rugby as coach of the crusaders

Agree what you say about the talent factor Rex. 100% with you on the need to start afresh and get rid of Deans aswell.

Quade Cooper is turning his back when he should be knuckling down. What’s with the “I’m gonna go & try this for a while if I can’t have my own way” attitude?

Whatever his gripes were, he’s gone about airing them in an unprofessional juvenile way. There are ways and means. One of his many problems are his agent is pissing down his leg & telling him it’s raining.

Mates from other states have said how much respect they gained for the Force when they pulled the rug from under JOC. That decision made me support this team even more. Reds could learn a thing or two from that.

Call it the moral high ground or whatever you like. But, it all depends on how much we (the supporting, viewing, paying public) are prepared to dilute our principals and pander to the whim of the deluded few, just to get results….

As with the Force, I’ll settle for mid table mediocrity (I hope) with an honest bunch of hard working players, who are thankful for having a career that 99.99% of the people of this world can only dream about.

its not that Id SETTLE for mid table mediocrity, I would ACCEPT "mid table mediocrity with an honest bunch of hard working players etc" instead of better performance with a flash player that I despise and am embarrassed to have in the team.

Besides, the foundation of success is to have a team culture, which is built upon players you describe WFDS. The Force has had Gits, Mitchell, Henjak etc and now JOC and they have contributed diddly squat to a team culture we can be proud of. Its only when that culture is established that the presence of a flash but selfish player can possibly be tolerated, and even then its risky. And usually ends in tears.

Sure the Barcas, Reals and ManU have disparate teams with players of questionable virtue who often hate each other, however these players are driven to succeed and have equally driven managers (note the term "manager" not "coach"). The team culture is to win, to be successful. But even then if they upset the apple cart they are shipped out.

    Boot kicked in face anyone?

It's a freaking disgrace if it's true. How much string-pulling by the QRU has gone on behind the scenes is what I'd like to know!

Nasser has done the ARU like a kipper!!

As much as you want to criticise Cooper for being a tit, he is a far better 10 than Kurtley Beale. We have been dire in attack all year. What is it- 3 tries in our last 5 games?

First time I've seen that website. Yesterday I saw a lengthy piece on ABC Grandstand with Amanda Shalala interviewing their Rugby Expert. They said he would announce today but that it is still incentive based for now. Perhaps he's being given a conditional offer with KPI's.

A lot of these posts are basically saying we need Quade back and all is forgiven.I can't think of any other sporting team in the world where a member of that team would come out and bag the coach and enviorment to the extent that he has and be welcomed back.Makes a complete mockery of the Wallabies set up and the ARU.If a player in my under 12's that I coach carried on like that he would be told to piss off. These so called superstars that some of you people put up on pedestals are meant to be role models for the younger players and if some of the people that have posted in support of Cooper on this thread are okay with his behaviour then what the faark is the next generation gonna bring us
