Similar with DHP - didn't look like a last minute replacement, just slotted straight in and didn't miss a beat.
We had a number of unusual looks yesterday. At one point Stander went off for blood and Tessman came on - so a hooker playing 6. And the backs ended up playing with Elbesohn, Cummins, Godwin, Brache, Prior, Holmes and CTM - one 9, two 10s, 3 centres and a wing. yet I didn't see any muddles with players standing out of position - all just slotted in and played as if they'd trained there. God knows how Foley and the staff do that!
ESPNScrum gives the following tackle/missed tackle counts:

He was very good. Like I said in another thread, saw him play for Easts in the Shite Shield a couple weeks back and he missed a lot of tackles and was dragged. A pleasant surprise for sure. Maybe the Beastie Boys defence structures aren't up to S15 standard was the problem rather than CTM himself.

Pretty apt really. Matches his journalistic ability and understanding of the complexities of the Rugby game.
Quite a few misses would have been against 135kg/2.03m Will Skelton... Most took'm round the ankles but some went high and bounced off.. Some impressive big hits eg Cheese and Benny on Potgieter. Even Robinson and PLN got put on their backs. Awesome stuff boys.
I thought Chieka (however way you spell it..) look uncharacteristically subdued in the box on Saturday..I wonder if he held back because of the upcoming hearing.. ???
I also liked the way Link put the Plonkers from Fox in their place about the decision by the ARU to keep Izzy out..

nice one, good to see him finally admit that the Tahs have a one man backline. He also suggested that they had no chance against the force when one man down!
