I dont think it would be fair to discuss whether players should refund money (to Firepower). They were, in the main, taken for a ride in the whole fiasco that was and is, Firepower. Its only the people that promoted the business and covered up along the way that deserve criticism. I have faith that the truth has probably sorted this mess out. And if it hasnt completely, perhaps it will some day.

I notice Volvo has stepped up to the mark. How is that deal viewed? I would think it was a great coup.

On a positive note, and perhaps I should raise this elsewhere, the Force only lost by a handful of points last week after playing below par. I actually view this as a positive. We know how good they CAN be when they're consistent.

    Bondi(Alan or beach?)
they played crap last week,Im still smarting, cant you tell?

It’s shame gerry… you can’t read a members opinion without having a go at the man…

I hope you don't mind me responding to your comment since it was directed at my contributions…

It is my perception that Bret Harris and Wayne Smith looked in their "Stuff I can Crap on About The Force" folder and could find nothing which wasn't old, worn out and no longer of relevant.

Something new needed to be invented - this article is the result - something new, worn out and not relevant.

Nobody saw the Firepower fiasco coming
Welcome to the biggest financial crisis since the 1930's
If a business runs out of mula, what can be done.
Other businesses came up with corporate mula to get Gits to re sign. Gimp boy says it's not about the money and he misses Henners, his mum, the girl next door in Queenbeyan, his puppy, his 1st grade teacher...........the violins please
The Force will come up with the Mula. WA is rich. The Brumbies are poor.
Gits doesn't like being yelled at for putting in performances that would have had him dropped from his 2nd XV at high school.

    I say, let Mitch rip

Agree nothing new here but not all points were irrelevant... However I don’t know why AUS journos are focusing on the force…

Force +4 tries against the cheetahs this weekend…

i stillwanna know why your coach who is reportedly on the biggest contract of any aussie super rugby coach,
    a)needs a second job
    b) is allowed to work a second job when he is still "setting up a team"
    c) is still working a second job even after an investigation into his conflict

the article was about "perception", my perception is that you nee to find a FULL time coach!

Working careers are finite. If he can make a sh1tload doing absolutely f--k all, only WJ wouldn't. Most of us would take the cash. It's a no brainer

He has been disempowered by the committee. He had 4/5ths of f--k-all to do in this capacity anyway. When Gits is getting his haircut and Drew and Valo are walking hand in hand on the beach, Mitch is making an extra squillion doing nothing........again a no brainer

We have 22 coaches. It's called player power and a committee that castrated Mitch
    He's on easy street
