    That was a good night!

No hail where I live but the rain was certainly heavy with visibilty down to a couple of metres at one stage. Flooding was quite extensive, knee deep on one street near me.

Went looking for photos, took some and will probably upload when I can be bothered. No power from 4:30 yesterday until 4:45am this morning went for drive on the hunt for dinner and finally found Power and open shops in Armadale!

Roof gutters couldn't take the volume of water and thus the water overflowed into fascia under the eaves, down through the cavity in the double brick wall and into the loungeroom - at first thought the gutters were blocked with leaves, but the downpipe was flowing like a champion; after getting on the ladder and having look see, it was like watching a waterfall cascade down the roof!

No wonder the gutters couldn't take it. Ended up punching about 20 holes in the gutter with a hammer and punch.... Called it quits when a dazzling lightning flash caused a deafening thunderclap which nearly knocked me off the ladder...

    Bloody spectacular though!

Managed to find a Dominos Pizza

Maccas and HJ's the respective lines of cars went well down the street and there were huge crowds inside where as Dominos was just a 15 minute wait

Fortunately both my front and back guttering is broken (ie the left and right pieces of both havent joined properly), so the plants under both sets got a good watering. Most happily for me, no broken tiles.
