Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
OK, OK, but YOUR moderator started it ...!
Footage of some Korean university rugby. The potential is there, though it does make me wonder why the Japanese haven't tried to include them in the Japanese scene prior to this, at least at uni level, if not the Top-League. I would assume it's a cultural rivalry possibly?
Anyway, if the Top-League did look to expand now, it looks like Twiggy could be the impetus to bring WA, Korea and Hong Kong into the fold. And if the level of play is more toward the semi-pro end of the spectrum, what would stop the likes of rugby-mad Sri Lanka joining in the fun too? (Unless the financials and time difference is too significant.)

The Western Force needs to keep its identity and should be allowed to buy back its IP.
The alliance agreement stated that they could buy it back at any time.
It is also come to my attention that SA has not penalised either the Cheetahs or Kings from leaving the Super Rugby conference either in naming rights or ability to play for SA.
IRB,SANZAAR & ARU should be assisting a new Australasia conference to stop the flow of players to Europe and keep players in employment especially the Western Force and its strong grassroot programme in Rugby WA.

Just throwing some thoughts out into the wild.
Are the teams in this new comp going to be privately owned?
Forest's Force, Shanghai Alibabas etc. I'm sure there are Malaysian billionares and some in Hong Kong that may want to own their own teams.
Is there a salary cap or limit on the number of 'marque' signings?
With the amount of money that could be on offer it's possible that a lot of players could come back from Europe or move from NZ, Aus, RSA for big money.
Will the TV rights be sold to Cable TV in China, Japan etc.?
I'd imagine that the number of Cable TV subscribers (if such a thing exists) in China alone would outnumber those in Europe, RSA, NZ and Aus combined.
People (mostly on other forums) keep saying that this comp won't get off the ground but if the money is there to pay the players similar to what they can get in Europe then this comp could destroy Super Rugby just by taking all the talent.
