I was in Thailand recently and was surprised how much the iPhone sell for up there. Marginally cheaper then here in Australia. When you concider incomes up there its highway robbery. And the price in Singapore, after conversion, is exactly the same, talk about a restrictive pricing policy.

I actually asked for a price at a store in Pantip Plaza and the guy looked me straight in the eyecand said, "do you want a real one or a fake?". Real were 18000 baht, fakes 4000. (30 baht to aud). Then proceeded to show me both.

Its no wonder everyone has Samsungs up there, and seems every second person has a Samsung 7" tablet.
