I think you must take in consideration that there are approx. 30 000 Saffers living in Perth and therefore you would have plenty of them at the Cheetahs game, supporting the Cheetahs, compared to the Samoan game there would not be as big a support group for them.Originally Posted by WF2006

As I have posted before, will be interesting to see the figure tonight.
I would have been dispapointed if we dont get at least 28,000.
We are favourites to win at home and the NZ's coming along as well, we should at least get close to that mark??
Any thoughts on the crowd.
The 30,000 was more than reasonable and spread out more.
Will be interesting now to see how many turn up against the Lions??

I think wit a couple of reasonable results in SOuth Africa the crowds will be back.....as I said in another post it is much more comfortable with the crowd spread out.....makes it look like more people then the official figure
I thought there were more like 50 000 Saffa's here. And I think I must know most of them.
Anyhoo, I thought the crowd was decent, although I was highly peeved at the extent of large empty patches of Gold seats. Seriously, if you can't be blowed turning up to the first match of the season, let's arrange a swap!
i think some of the blanks in the gold sections are those that cant be filled...like...1 seat here and there....good for me..can spread out..
TG, I could see (from my well-positioned but oxygen-deficient seat) great chunks of absenceThe odd empty seat or two here or there I can accept.
There was an empty bank of five closer to the half-way than mine, that means either five tossers who couldn't be fagged or my group of three was shafted on the seat change.Originally Posted by travelling_gerry

I think the heat, deterred a lot of the prawn sandwich brigade from going.
Well I'll beefed! I thought I knew a fair bit of derogatory slang ; "chardonays" for the WCE's , Sydney Roosters. Silvertails for Carlton, Manly, Randwick.Originally Posted by Egan
