If anyone is going to choke NZ it will be the Argies - a lot of their players play in France and traditionally it is the French who knock NZ out - the argies have far less pressure on them, then NZ in NZ - for some reason the NZ mentality is not that of winners am waiting for the knock Henry press to crank up and the NZ camp to implode.
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
OMG what a game, great whistle is stone colds call, its not unusual, and then the chariots, wheels have fallen off......

Wow, what a relief, pre game drinks were had at The General Practitioner and then to The Greenman where we watched the mighty lions dominate the blue ovals at Bathurst before headingbto the match. Tones of Bokk and a great atmosphere at the game which certainly had me worried for a while, lucky there was plenty of heineken to calm me. Post game we hit The Southern Cross to watch ABs match. Kiwis were very quiet for first half, but came to life and smiles appeared as they took control. Nightcaps at The Bristol Hotel with a replay of Wallabies match and barely a yarpie in site!
Monday morning was a very tough start but who cares, we won and I did let a few saffers know about it as im sure they would have it iit was the other way around. Breakfast at Helps Pizza, with cider then to JJ Murpheys where the staff from Mollys (including our Erion from JBs) were on swim through after two big nights of pouring guinness down the throats of visiting Paddies. Also got The Grand Hotel and Molly Malones was my last in Wellington before we packed the car and went to pick up Save and Spark from the ferry to head out to our mates bach (coastal holiday house) at Riversdale Beach outside Masterton. Arrived in good time and got stuck into the red wine and good nights sleep. I am very out numbered here 4 kiwis to 1 aussie but they can't help themselves but to talk openly about their teams short comings and concerns about the semi...loving it.
Weather is not the best today, windy and big swells but Dixon and Sav have set the cray pot and fish net and also grabbed half a dozen paua to go with the wild venison, whitebait and muscles the boys bought from the west coast.
No pubs in town but we should get a game of golf in tomorrow, weather permitting and drag the pots and net and see what mother nature has provided.
News here is that Dan Craters girlfriend dumped him (read Dan is out of closet)
An Iirishman, a Scotsman and an English man walk into a bar, the Welshman couldn't make it because he was still at the World Cup!

In Rotorua preparing for Hangi tonight. Been increasing the pub count here and in Taupo. Not as impressive as TIFs count but we've achieved more than one per day! Hitting Auckland on Saturday for the semis

Spent the last week in NZ. Wellington for the qf's last weekend and then went down to Queenstown for a couple of days last Monday. Arrived Auckland last evening. Muddy Farmer seems to be an Aussie supporter venue.
What a massive night to finish my tour, I was staying with a friend who was house sitting the home of EH Catleys daughter ( he was 5 year AB hookers on late 40s and playednd coached Waikato for over 20 years, a legend). My bar count concluded with O'Reagans and Danny Doolys at the Viaduct which was also the first plastic cups on tour....a sesational night and almost missed my home flight.
58 bars as final count
Its up to rest theof you to escort Bill home now
See you all atfor the semis
