Another from The West today that also mentions the points and the meaning it has for players.
Western Force look to quell powerful Tigers runners

Western Force coach Tim Sampson is looking for an improvement in basic skills in tonight’s Global Rapid Rugby clash with the South China Tigers at HBF Park.
The Force beat the Hong Kong-based side 45-24 last year but the visitors have a much-strengthened squad.
They have a mix of internationals who played in Hong Kong’s world cup qualifying games, 7s specialists and some who played in the last fixture.
“We will be looking for consistency in our skill execution. We’ve got to be better with our basic handling and carrying into contact,” Sampson said.
“They were very good at the breakdown last year, they will be focussed around the collision areas. We have had a fair bit of training time and discussion around the breakdown.
“They have some powerful runners so we have to get up in their face and make the tackles.”

"Believe in the best, think your best, study your best, have a goal for your best, never be satisfied with less than your best, try your best, and in the long run things will turn out for the best."
Get with it. This from the Rapid Rugby.
We’ve also upped the ante to incentivise and reward attacking tactics and game style. Bonus points are up for grabs if your team does one or more of the following;
Wins by 3 or more tries = 1 bonus point
Scores 4 or more tries in a game = 1 bonus point
Lose by 5 points of less = 1 bonus point
Amazingly the game never found its way to youtube despite their being all the world series rugby matches on it within 24hrs of the broadcast last year.
Also SBS on demand didn't have a replay either, no where did, so all the people who didn't realise they could live stream it from the website missed it and couldn't watch a replay. Its almost like half the effort is being put into RapidRugby compared to World Series Rugby..
I said before, ill say it again. Kayo.
Still has the replay available
If they've got a commercial arrangement for the streamed rights - which is a good thing - that means it's not gonna be available free on yoo toob ...
Of course, being also on FTA means it could be put up on ATT - if and ONLY if some punter could be arsed, tho.
Less whinging, more action.
