By the sounds of the way he speaks and writes he would know Gray is guilty as sin and once he gets done North can say how he told them all and he is a great bloke.
Like after reading the Alliance Agreement telling the ARU how they could cut the Force, he didn't want it to happen, he simply told the ARU that it was possible and how. Simply a truthful fella, no angles here.
Slimey as they come while trying to portray the cover that he is just a simply man trying to do the right thing.

On page 63 of today's Sunday Times it claims they have seen an email from Pulver negotiating the Rebels put option in June
A lawyer is not responsible for the ethics or morality of his clients.
He is only responsible for the accuracy of the advice he gives them.
The real question is, was he acting in the capacity of a lawyer or a client?
whats the headline please
The truth may set you free, but only evidence convicts
A***holes but what is it going to change!! Good to see it in some media though

It won't invalidate the put, but it might get some directors and executives in legal hot water since they were negotiating to essentially shut down a department of their own corporation by funding and assisting a third party. Doesn't sound like ethical business practices. All it needs is evidence.
C'mon the
Norths angle during his testimony was to obstruct, delay and deflect. In other words, he is covering his own ass while throwing others under the bus to make it seem like he has a conscience and is a stand up guy, yet has been using his law expertise to manipulate the situation for the personal gain of his mates. North pushing throught the EGM was disgraceful as the deck was loaded before the meeting and the naivety of NSW, QLD, ACT and RUPA were exposed by their inept agreeance to all the shiny objects being waived in their faces. Theres a reason WA didn't support the EGM, it was a stitch up that we saw coming but our "allies" over east surrendered to it thereby empowering the ARU constitutionally to keep acting as the destructors of the game. The East Coast Unions should be pissed off they fell for such an obvious trap and unwittingly surrendered their power to DeClyne and friends, the same people who destroyed rugby this year who cannot be trusted to act in the games best interests as their track record of incompetence shows. The upcoming interstate slanging matches should be entertaining though as NSW and QLD realise they have been duped out of money and players.
