Reckon Hertryk would collect the set?....
You know me sooo well guys... but I now need a bigger house..![]()
I can tell you that in a Super Rugby first we will be featuring different sponsors on the front of each playing jumper. There will be a write up about it in The West tomorrow in the business section, but as always, you heard it first here on TWF![]()
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
They should auction them off for charity afterwards.
Didnt they do that last year (maybe the Mandurah trial game)? If not, maybe it was my other blue and back team.
"12 Years aSupporter" starring the #SeaOfBlue
They did in the Brumbies game (last game of the year) it was on the back where the Bankwest logo is

“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
My understanding of the situation is that every jumper is being sponsored by an individual company for either one game or the whole year. This gives more companies the chance for exposure through sponsorship. If that is the case I love the idea!!!! It also means we are not reliant on one major sponsor.
Makes financial sense when you think about it. Not many companies are going to stump up the big dollars like Emirates did in today's climate so break it down to smaller amounts, spread it across the team and hopefully you get the same sort of revenue. Just like ITM cup teams do.
So reading the paper they are selling each starting jumper for $50k and the res for $25k they have sold 8 starting jumpers but the rest are still up for grabs... Doing the math if they sell every jumper that's $950,000 which is $50k less than reported what we got last year.
Let's hope they can get the rest sold and soon

auction them with a "buy it now" price - people who buy up front get to pick what number they get? Better than seeing them go unsold. Probably have it so Western Force proxy bid on behalf of buyers so that some CEO/CFO or whatever doesn't have to deal with the nitty gritty and financials can be verified ?
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
What about a TWF jumper coach maybe we can all pull some funds together maybe be able to get a down payment

The article from The West. I tell ya, that Mark Sinderberry is a brilliant CEO!
Making the most out of a bad situation this is a really good ideas. Especially for smaller companies wanting more exposure in an international climate.
What travesty is this that Kyle Godwin's 12 wasn't the among the first to be snaffled. 2, 12, 10 and 8 are all high profile positions. 2 gets a lot of media attention when at the set pieces especially line outs. I can see some big companies really interested in nick cummins due to the high profile of his after game speeches.
Surely one of the visa immigration consultant companies will have to sponsor one of the Saffa boys.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
I had heard that the ANC were looking at setting up some sort of election office in Perth so maybe the Force should tap them up for one of the saffer-occupied positions?!
