To be fair, the cost of staging this would be enormous if the FTA station was not willing to put it on off their own bat. The poor attitude of the FTA executives towards both codes of Rugby is legendary. Some of the programs that seem to be able to punt Rugby into the wee small hours make their scheduling look like the three stooges are running the joint. Apparently even pro active infomercials rate better.

The ABC is the only network that gives the game a fair go. Too bad it's only watched by commie lesbo tree hugging metrosexuals and land rights for gay whales agitators.

Rebels vs Force will settle the argument once and for all. With ten international marquee players, a virtually unlimited checkbook and arguably the best coach I modern rugby, you'd think they'd be more competitive than the Force, who had nothing more than a license and a crafty CEO

Gigs, you've got a very supportive media over there. I don't believe the Rebels do, and that's going to be very hard for them, as it has been for the Storm.

Speaking of which..I tuned the radio to 6PR expecting to hear a broadcast of today's game only to hear about some poor dear being woken by an early morning phone call from her dad. Do they take lessons from Channel 7? Thank Goodness for online streaming

Ch 10 news has just had a report near the end of sport, after AFL, cricket, surfing, golf, soccer, nbl and nba (in that order). ahead of netball and NASCAR.
