a Blues supporter mate of mine watched the force game last night from the UK.. his first comment to me was geez you guys pack that stadium every week!

made me feel proud to be a Force supporter right there... with that in mind i dont see how it could be RugbyWA going cap in hand.. sure we havent filled the stadium since round 3 but there have been decent crowds there every time.

Might be on the mark. Their crowd for the Highlanders yesterday was a disgrace to their so called supporters. It's inconceivable that any other team in Oz would get such a piss poor turnout for a must win match when they are still in the hunt - just.

I guess it could be anyone of us. We've all had to foot the bill for getting short term players in for injury, probably the Brumbies and Waratahs most of all. I had initially ruled out the Tahs because I thought the ARU would be looking over their shoulder, having bailed them out in the past, with all the recent signings they have made- they've got a lot talent on their list and it can't come cheap.

Word is Ben Mowen will be dropped so they can sign Rocky Elsom.
Mowen imo has been one of the best in the Tahds Pack.
Worst decision ever if true. Im thinking the tahds are desperate to hang on to Mowen while still sign elsom at the same time but cant under the new cap.

Mowen would be a good addition to the reds pack. 6 Higgenbotham 7 robinson 8 mowen(or swap with higgers doesnt matter). I believe he started his career with the Reds as well.

Edit: Forgot to add, if we play like this next year, we will win A LOT more games. This group just needs a little more time to get used to each other. Stannard brings a new game to fly half, and when Swanepoel comes on we get very quick ball.[/QUOTE]

I agree but they are also going to have to shorten the games to 70mins!

I said jokingly to someone last night that next year we should just leave at the 70 minute mark each week and avoid the last 10 heartbreaking minutes

Another last 10 min capitulation. I hope that durring the off season (all 8mths of it) the whole team spend time with some very good sport Phscos.
The Coach needs to learn about tactics and team managment. Replaceing players for the sake of it farked us last night.
Lets just hope we can put one over the Rebels next week!

Mowen should look to the Brumbies or Rebels.

The Brumbies need a 6/8 to cover for the loss of Elsom, Chapman and possibly Hoiles if he can't get himself fixed. With Chisholm gone they really need Kimlin to play lock too. Plenty of voids at the Brumbies.

I'm not sure that I get this. Over 16,000 showed up last night at nib (I actually thought it was more - the usual empty seats in the corporate hospitality blocks in the main stand, but almost full in the southern and eastern stands and in the standing areas).

But only about 13,500 showed up at the SFC for the Tahs against Otago (and 11,700 for the Brumbies v. Melbourne at Canberra)?

I am pretty sure I heard Mark White say it was a sell-out. 16,000 reflects a few thousands seats that were paid for (or corporate) that weren't used. 13,000 for NSW is very dire and likewise 11,000 for Canberra. But unfortunately the Highlanders and the Rebels aren't big draw cards like the Crusaders or the Reds.

I'm pretty sure we haven't had a game under 13,000.

I think we would have been too knackered for the monkey business at home, after his efforts on the pitch earlier.

Plenty of energy for monkey business after kickoff

I hope he went home with his head taped up and the head gear on
