Mason's been thrown around the back row and loose a couple of times, but I think he might be good at hooker. Reason, league hookers are too small for union hooking, and nobody on a league pitch knows how to scrummage anyway. If (as has been previously stated) this thread is about players who have been developed in union, then body type and ability (speed, agility, kinesthetic awareness) is really what it's all about.Mason is big, quick and pretty mobile, what more could you want in a hooker?

i was thinking along the same lines, but i was thinking the eels hooker mark 'piggy' riddell is probably the league hooker most similiar to union hookers

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Union players are better than league players?

The games are different, "not better or worse just different"

League and Union players rarely make the transition successfully in the modern game! (Brad Thorn excepted)
