I`m sure that is only the tip of the "touring party" iceberg. We must respect the adage of what happens on tour stays on tour, but as your sister has pointed out, she won`t tell anyone.....
Maybe we could start a new thread on end of season antics, but remembering that this is a G rated site means a lot of good stories would have to be left out.....Oh the memories
surfing TWF is sort of like being on a mini virtual Tour, you can tell us - we won;t say anything....
Cool! I never thought I'd get to go on tour...Originally Posted by Coach

There was one story from the Prague tour....it involved our captain (Rob....you remember him, don't you Em.....!!!!!)......a shopping trolley, half a bottle of Absinthe and a road sign!!!!
PS - I was pushing skipper in a kilt in the trolley!!!
Any pictures?!

Now there's a question from someone who's never been on Tour!!!
Not me directly, but topical with the teams in town. I spent a bit of time in Japan and went down to see a local school game. Typical schoolboy stuff, but they played 80 minutes of willing, full contact rugby on a field of crushed gravel. I don't know how typical it was, but nor did anyone act like it was anything unusual - certainly I've never doubted the Japanese lads commitment to the cause since.
Ouch, that`s nasty. Reminds me of british bulldog at school, on basketball court, where it was supposed to be grab and hold, but inevitably eneded in tackles, and sometimes tears
Unfortunately... I was taken from the state of my birth (NSW) down to Melbourne when I was a very young lad and so I never got to play rugby (either code), but I did get to play aussie rules and football (soccer) in primary and high school there and possibly the worst ground I ever played on was a mud bath in Reservoir.
I kid you not... the mud had to have been at least 6 inches deep everywhere on the ground with a 4 inch deep pool of water in both goal squaresI swear that I didnt see a patch of green on the entire oval
We were playing a semi final there at the time I think and we were all of about 11 years old at the time... so shin height mud all round...
I think that the nuns were not happy about having to be out there in their habits coaching us on the day![]()
