Bloody oath.
Australia was one of the nations that helped set up WADA. Australian's are always quick to point the finger when doping happens overseas but get a bit trigger shy when it happens here in our own backyard.
The second WADA got involved and the case left the corrupt AFL system this was always going to happen.
You only have to see some of the reactions from Australia's Olympic Atheletes to see this decision was welcomed.
One of the reasons I, and others I imagine, had some sympathy for the players, was that they might have been given false assurances about the legality of the injections. Some of the information that I've heard in the last day indicates otherwise. Most damning for me was that apparently not one player indicated they were having these shots, as is required on the form they use when having routine drug tests. That indicates a conspiracy to decieve which started long before the "blackest day in sport". It would mean that they have actually gotten off very lightly.

And the fact that one player made the correct decision not to get involved shows that there was always a choice, nobody held a gun to these players heads and demanded they have the shots.

It appears the "upgrade" to Diamond Member for "some of us" was a processing error, and a new membership card has been issued.!!
Kochie whining about Paddy Ryder being banned this season.
gee... if only there was a way to predict him being banned... oh wait! he was injected with an illegal performance enhancing drug and was being investigated by the WADA (who have a 97% conviction rate for investigations)

I'm trying to decide if TG or BnB won the internet there. Both very funny. Dead heat perhaps.
