When he left the Force, he was pretty young & naive and very poorly advised by his incompetent management team (his Dad). I didn't like the circumstances in which he left nor the ridiculous contractual demands he made, but I don't think he's responsible for that cluster f_uck of a contract negotiation.
I agree 100%. We don't want to be begging this guy to come and play for us and offering him silly money. He'll obviously be a handy player to have around, but he's not the second coming and is not going to work miracles for the Force.

Maybe being the operative word. Any game an would be nice. I would love to have oconnor back. He is the sort of player we desperately miss. This could turn us into a mid table side. We are only a couple of players away from that now.

Shame that Mafi will be gone to Japan - barring that.. like it

Reds couldn't afford JOC, nor does signing him make sense considering they already have Quade at 10 and Tapuai at 12...
very poorly advised by his incompetent management team (his Dad). - who is still his manager
Nowhere, and that's the difference between Hanson and Genia. Hanson hasn't agreed to terms, shaken anybody's hand or made any private agreements at all. He's begun negotiations and failed to reach a resolution. If he stays at the Reds, I hope it's a good outcome for him and he doesn't continue to be overshadowed by that gimp Faingaa.
