Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Maybe the ban will cause him to miss the IPL.....that'd teach him!!!
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Well it was late but not vindictive, I think he'll get off with a yellow card at the most. I'd blow the penalty and warn him about not using his arms in the tackle!

Looked a touch high as well..........................
I doubt it would affect his IPL commitments unless it was an ICC suspension and not a Cricket Australia suspension
If cricket Australia hops in,he should counter sue them for not providing a safe workplace
i suppose that QLD must be getting bored...
Great weather with the flooding
Reds performing to there expectations of finishing in the bottom half
Broncos only just beating the redcliffe dolphins
Bullets getting knocked out of the finals in BBall
and now the cricket, the fans have to enjoy something ....
Symmonds won't face sanctions from Cricket Australia (todays paper) and won't face charges from QLD Police (radio news)
QLD Police are charging the streaker and he will be fined $9000. Pretty expensive moment of madness
Pretty good story to tell though. Got decked in his birthday suit by none other than Roy. Though I don't know it's a story worth $9000.
He can always sell that story to New Idea.![]()
I made Happy sad...
Which is the Mag that buys all the Shane Warne tripe?

I reckon he should have just done a nice cover drive and knocked him for a 2
at least he wouldn't have risked his bowling arm.
Excellent stuff by Symonds - more of that type of stuff and I might even start watching it - wonder if Robbie Deans will look him up - he got the man down no problems
BTW the streaker only got fined $1500
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
I've been to the cricket a fair few times since i turned 18 (legal drinking age) and i have been know to have an ale or two, but i have never been drunk enough to decide to strip off and run onto the field.
The fine would be bad enough (espeacially if it were the maximum) but a 5 year ban, i couldnt live with that. But i suppose there are ways around things like that.
Probably to keep him from pursuing charges against Symonds. He wil probably still have to cop the 5 year ban i would imagine
