Heard that he was going. Shame to see another player go but hopefully he can get some more game time up North.
Paves the way for some of the younger boys to get more game time & development alongside Dunning/Fairbrother ie. WA's own Kieran Longbottom.
Well, right now Kieran is one of four so one injury away from serious game time. Two injuries and we are likely to have regular uncontested scrums.
We still have the position available for an uncapped foreign player as Fairbrother is already elligible by heritage I believe?
Might be time head off to Argentina.

So a prop that hasn't played for either the Pumas or Jaguars...? That is digging pretty deep into their amateur ranks.
Yep, you're right, we are rooted...

Both the Reds and the Waratahs have run out 20 year old props in the starting XV in the last year or two (Ben Daley and Dan Palmer). Both players may not have been superb but they weren't terrible either. Both the Force's academy props are about 20 or 21 and will be a year older next year. If they end up being needed I think we can count on them. Maybe not be brilliant but definitely not let the team down. I remember when Kieran Longbottom came on against the Chiefs last year. He was twenty three and I know that two years can make a big difference but I thought that game he played against the Chiefs was fantastic. He scrummed well and he carried the ball well and he got around the field. I think we should keep our fingers crossed that the boys stay in top condition and if there are problems either bring in a short-term stopgap or give one of the juniors a chance.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Was it Nic Henderson they were talking to in conjunction with Dunning - I wonder where they got to with him? But other than that, yeah, we may have dropped the ball big time not locking in at least one of the three guys that left. I just hope they have something clever brewing.
It would be disappointing to see four Wallabies in the back five, and two rookies in the front row...
he did his knee last year and then broke his leg in the first game this year....just unlucky
