Of course SBW wasn't going to lose, he was fighting a muppet hand picked by Mundine to make SBW look good

Thats as unlikely as Green has gone up a weight division and Mundine has gone down a weight division

i know. dissapointing isnt it. green's loosing all that weight for the previous fight was one of the main factors in his demise.

i hope it happens. but i dont think it will. green looks like he wants the WBA belt back. which wont involve mundine at all

Mundine's public persona is a pain in the arse. But he's a good fighter. And smart with his selection and timing of opponents. The Green fight was a big payday for both. Sure Green had to drop weight for the fight but that's not why he lost out. Mundine is just too fast and too good for him.

i'm not gonna disagree with you there at all shasta. choc is an immensly gifted fighter. i really enjoy watching his fights. the mouth gets him publicity. which has got to be a movitation to keep running it all the time...

but i wouldnt count green out just in a rematch. he will work to neutralise the advantages mundine has over him. because those advantages cost him the fight last time.

my point in my other post though was in reference to the fact that green didnt look well when him and mundine were fighting. he was slower than normal and he wasnt as fit as he usually is. his punches also didnt have the effect that they normally did, because they werent supported by the muscle that they usually were

Ok I can here it now more welsh hype from WRF but while these two contenders were slugging it out there was a real champion out there that neither could have or would have held a candle to.

Yep the Welshman Joe Calzaghe. Who I hear you ask.

Random thoughts of someone whose taken too many hits. I used to box got a Cauliflower bum to prove it.

Neither Green or Mundine are world quality. Kostya was , Darchinyan is, although neither of them are Australian either.

    Never lost a bout though.

They fight over a belt, who'd want any part of that sport?
