That was more a no-ball call - one of the better chucks I have seen in a while....

It was a bit dangerous as he lifted the Bulls player off his feet and then let go, but he let go to go after the ball - he didn't slam him into the ground.

Considering the headlocks some of the Bulls players put on Rabbit and Cullet earlier in the game a 2-week suspension is harsh. Especially as the ref penalised him during the game (despite not seeing it!)

His biggest mistake might have been letting him go. If he'd kept hold of him and back slammed him it would probably have been called a great hit - if the Bulls bloke still had the ball. Seemed Cummo realised 1) The ball had been passed, 2) He'd got the bloke in a dangerous position. When he pulled his arms out it made the fall look worse than it was.

In keeping with Wrestlemania, maybe he should have given the saffa a "batista bomb" (which is basically slamming him on the deck onto his back).

Cullet wasn't carded because the ref didn't see it - just gave a penalty instead!

It was dangerous plain and simple he deserves the punishment IMHO. If they did that to a Force player we would be calling a lynch mob together with pitch forks and torches.

I do agree with some of the other comments though they did get away with a lot of high shots one or two coming from Steyn who is a short arse, and prompted me to ask is that Butch James out there???

If I'd have seen it against a Force player I'd have said two weeks for a repeat offender or one if its a first timer. Was that Cummins' first time cited?

I probably would've been a bit pissed at not getting a yellow card though too.

the gouge was more (cant remember who it was) the Bulls player annoying the hell out of sharpie than try to cause damage
